Dr. Patel, with support from Research Scientist Janus Kristjansson, also attended the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, IL, this September, along with a variety of our Fraunhofer USA, Inc. Centers and Fraunhofer Germany Institutes, to discuss Fraunhofer’s latest innovations in manufacturing. The successful event attended by thousands showcased Fraunhofer as one of the leading innovators of technology research locally and across the globe.

Earlier this summer, Fraunhofer USA CESE Research Scientists Dr. Mikael Lindvall, Dr. Madeline Diep, and Mr. Gudjon Magnusson were invited to support our longstanding partnership with mission-critical NASA collaborators in two working group meetings with NASA JPL and NASA OSMA. Engaging in meaningful, transformative discussions about aerospace industry trends in autonomous vehicles and robotics and the software and systems to assure these and other NASA technologies, Fraunhofer USA CESE is positioned to continue helping our NASA partners advance their field.
